Karisma Infinity: Backwash unit with massage and heat lamp for hair salons

For her salon BEYOU in Schweinfurt, Lena Kress has transformed the washing area into a place of well-being: Backwash unit with massage functions and electric leg rests, topped by gold-colored infrared heat lamps. The styling stations stand freestanding in the room—featuring round double mirrors with indirect lighting and dark brown Salon chairs.

BEYOU is a hair salon and beauty studio in one: haircuts, balayage, and blonde services, plus bridal styling and a barber area. Lena Kress wanted a place where clients could take their time—with a lounge, a green wall, and plenty of natural light. The interior design should reflect this: calm, warm, and not loud.

The washing area
Backwash unit with massage and heat lamp.
In the washing area, there are stations that do more than just wash hair. The Karisma Infinity Massage features a back massage and a leg rest—the client leans back and lies down instead of sitting. The full-surface, contoured seat in dark brown supports the entire body, while the basin is white.
Hanging above each station is a Karisma Infrared heat lamp in matte gold, which is height-adjustable. The infrared lamp provides warmth during head massages and while hair care products and color are processing—and it serves as the room’s centerpiece.
Upholstery in dark brown, basin in white, light fixture in gold—the washing area sits beneath the ceiling’s light field like a stage of its own.

The styling stations are arranged as islands in the room: the Pahi Island Joy double styling station with two facing workstations, round mirrors with indirect lighting, and an integrated footrest.
