Hair Salon Under the Glass Dome: Pahi Bold and Eurostile Backwash unit in Dresden

Juliette Beke has set up her “Gesunde Haare” salon in Dresden in a space that could otherwise be a museum: a glass dome made of steel and glass, arched windows, columns, and mint-colored walls. Inside, there is a long styling table made of solid wood, Pahi Eurostile Salon chairs in Bordeaux, Pahi Bold Backwash unit with wooden bases, and Pahi Waiting area furniture. We supplied the furnishings.

The Salon

Steel, glass, mint.

The dome, made of steel latticework and glass, spans the entire salon; beneath it, arched windows and wall arches run around the room. The walls are painted a light mint color, the floor is concrete, and the columns remain unfinished. In a space like this, the furnishings must not compete—they must take a back seat while still feeling warm. That’s why we chose wood and burgundy.

A salon where the building takes center stage—and the furniture sets the tone.

Service Stations

One board, many stations.

Instead of wall-mounted stations, there is a long solid-wood table on a black steel frame positioned right in the center of the dome. The stations are arranged on both sides, back-to-back, with mirrors placed between the stations on the table. This allows the team to work in the center of the room, while maintaining an unobstructed view of the windows and the dome.

The Pahi Eurostile Salon chairs in Bordeaux red with black armrests stand on a round chrome base—the only bold color in the room, coordinated with the Backwash unit. In the waiting area, Pahi Waiting area furniture complements the line.

Washing

Hair is washed in Backwash unit Pahi Bold Backwash unit: Bordeaux-colored Upholstery, white basin, on a wooden base that matches the countertop. They are positioned on either side of the room in front of the arches, with a wooden shelf for towels behind them. From the chair, the view looks upward—toward the dome.
