Pahi was founded in 1975 in Gurb near Barcelona as a family business and is now one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of hair and beauty salon furniture. Upholstery, frames, and padding are produced in the company’s own workshops—with many steps still done by hand.

The Kosmo is available in Pahi’s standard upholstery at no extra charge. In addition, higher-quality collections are available for special requirements—ranging from durable and functional to premium upholstery with select textures.

Since colors can always vary slightly on screen, we recommend a color chart before making your final selection. We would be happy to send you one and discuss combinations that match the lighting and other materials in your salon.

By the way: A two-tone finish is usually available at Pahi at no extra charge—just let us know.

Pahi Kosmo Upholstery and Material Details

What are the dimensions of the Kosmo Salon chair?

The basic dimensions are approximately 70 × 69 × 79–94 cm (width/depth/height). The exact total height and lift range depend on Chair base selected Chair base—we will be happy to provide you with the exact measurements for your desired combination during the consultation.

What chair bases are available?

The Kosmo is available with all standard Pahi bases—including Star, Round, Square, Kube, and Boss—in various finishes such as black-lacquered steel, stainless steel, white-lacquered steel, and black or polished aluminum. We’d be happy to work with you to determine which base best suits your salon concept.

What does “lockable” pump mean?

"Lockable" means that the chair can be locked into the desired position. When locked, the chair no longer swivels—which is practical for precise cutting work or when getting into the chair. You can easily release the lock again using the foot lever.

Can I order the Kosmo in two colors?

Yes, a two-tone finish is generally available at Pahi at no extra charge. We’re happy to assist you with the color combination so that the seat and backrest harmonize with each other.

Where can I see the Pahi Kosmo in Germany?

You can experience the Kosmo in person at our showroom on the A71 in Schweinfurt/Grafenrheinfeld. We recommend making an appointment—that way, we can take our time and also show you suitable combinations with mirror stations or wash stations.

How do I clean the cover?

For everyday cleaning, water with a little dish soap and a soft cloth is usually sufficient. For heavier soiling, a soft brush can also be used. Please note: Upholstery cannot be protected against staining—especially denim dye and hair dye can leave marks that cannot be removed.
